Construction of boat is limited to corrugated cardboard, duct tape and water based paint.

Boats can be propelled by oars, paddles, sails or paddle wheels (no gas or electric power).

Watercraft can be manned by 1 to 10 people, all sailors must be visible while in craft at all times.

All participants must provide and wear life jackets while on the boat.

Participants must remove and dispose of their boats  and/or its remnants after the challenge.

Boat must be registered with BOYC to participate.
